There has never been a time like this on earth as we know it, and there never will be another time like this. Fukushima is the Extinction Level Event. It is not the only leaking reactor core because now there is one in New York. Chernobyl was very bad, and this is not going away. The sea animals and all life that cannot survive radioactivity like cesium 137 (a waste product of nuclear fuel fission) is dying. The proof is in the news...dying pods of whales. Dying invertebrates like starfish. Fish with bleeding lesions all over them. I will miss seafood so much. That is my favorite food, and I will miss it. But, then again, I have had it, and I am now 59 years old. They are still serving fish up at eateries and supermarkets. It makes me sick to think that there may be contaminated fish in the fish sticks that people are feeding their little ones. Tilapia has so much mercury in it that now it has been recommended that we do not consume it. But, we will. We will eat now and worry about the consequences later. Or will we? I will not. So, strike fish off of the diet. What have we done? When will it end? Well, kids, with Fukushima it will never end. They cannot stop the China Syndrome. It is just a matter of time now. I would love to find a nice homey cave under ground to survive in.
